The second part of my phot spread from our recent Iceland trip is about the exploration of the abandoned Dc 3 plane wreck. Icleands most iconic and unqiue seight. Saturday the 24th of November, 1973 a United States Navy Douglas Super DC-3 airplane was forced to land on Sólheimasandur’s black sand beach in the south of Iceland after experiencing some severe icing.

So we got their after roughly a two our walk through the nowhere somewhen at 6 am. but it was definitely worth it. No tourists, just the endless vastness. After this we got to the breathtaking waterfall called Golfuss. A wet yet ingenious experience walking very close to the breaking deluge of water.
